I have been the apartment manager here for a long time.

Every day is the same.
Clean the hallways.
Take out the trash.
Check the fire extinguishers on every floor.

The residents here are... strange.
They rarely leave their rooms.

I can barely remember anything before coming here.
Maybe I was just too tired.
Maybe I forgot.

Today, the weather feels wrong.

The left side of the sky is bright and sunny.
The right side is covered in dark clouds.

And on this very day,
a note was slipped under the office door.

Halfway to Dark is a short atmospheric horror puzzle game.

Explore the apartment, fulfill the residents’ strange requests, collect ritual items, and place them in the correct locations.

As the truth slowly reveals itself, you may begin to remember why you came here in the first place.

Gameplay

In each floor, your goal is to collect three ritual items and place them on the altar.

Be careful not to touch anything the residents don't want you to touch. Avoid the watchdogs, and stay out of sight of the wandering strangers.

Once all three items have been placed, activate the altar.

If nothing happens, the offerings may be in the wrong order. Rearrange the items on the altar and try again until the ritual is completed.

The correct order is not random. Somewhere in the building, the answer is already waiting to be discovered.
